Consider a Ram Truck

The Ram name is built on a storied history that ties it to some of the most beloved trucks ever to hit the open road. Once part of the Dodge brand, Ram has operated as Stellantis’ standalone pickup truck division since 2010. Ram has made considerable growth quickly, establishing its place in the market and taking a practical, no-nonsense approach to the pickup segment. While other automakers are focused on winning over car and SUV drivers with flashy styling and gadgets, Ram has taken a decidedly different approach in a move that’s won plenty of praise from drivers seeking a pickup that isn’t afraid to put in a little work.

Ram trucks have a reputation as some of the best, hardest-working models in the full-size segment and have the numbers to back it up. Ram pickups regularly are one of the industry’s top three models when it comes to sales, which is a particularly impressive achievement in this hotly contested category. Debuting in 2019, the Ram’s fifth generation of full-size pickups has been a particularly successful example of this trend.

Ram made some important changes in crafting the fifth-generation Ram 1500, reducing the pickup’s weight while simultaneously increasing its overall towing capacity. That combination makes the Ram 1500 one of the brawniest models in the segment, and drivers have certainly taken notice. In 2020, Ram set a new high-water mark, moving more than half a million units and kicking off the truck’s fifth generation with a bang.

While the Ram 1500 might be our best-selling model, it's just one part of the expansive Ram lineup. Like many automakers, Ram produces a full range of pickups that become steadily more powerful as you move up the ladder. This increased capability usually comes in the form of higher towing capacity and heavier-duty parts, allowing trucks like the Ram 2500 and 3500 to put in the sort of work that would leave lesser models gasping for air.

The Ram 2500, for example, boasts a towing capacity more than enough for all but the most demanding applications, but if you’re trying to move mountains, there’s always the Ram 3500, which has a staggering towing capacity. If it can be pulled, the Ram 3500 can pull it. The Ram chassis cab is an excellent option for construction and trade pros, allowing drivers to customize their ride to fit their unique business or personal needs. Whether you’re looking for a flatbed, dump truck, crane lift, or an industry-specific service body, the Ram chassis cab has you covered with a gigantic towing capacity and lineup-best payload capacity.

Ram trucks might be job site MVPs, but they also know how to have a little fun. Our off-road offerings include the 702 hp Ram TRX and, coming in late 2024, the all-new Ram RHO. The TRX is a veritable Super Truck equipped with all the high-performance components a driver needs to tackle some of the harshest off-road environments. The Ram 1500 RHO gives drivers a new, more economical off-road option without skimping on the power, making it the ideal partner for a long day out on the trail.

Then there’s the Ram 1500 Classic. Based on the fourth-gen Ram 1500, this economical take on the full-size Ram makes the perfect work truck, offering respectable towing capacity and power while falling well within the budget of the average business owner. It might not have all the latest bells and whistles, but if you’re seeking a no-fuss pickup that will put in hard work day in and day out, the Ram 1500 Classic is worth a closer look.

If you are seeking a reliable, pre-owned vehicle, it’s hard to do better than a Ram truck. There are lots of advantages to choosing a pre-owned vehicle when you’re on the hunt for your next ride, and the lower price is only part of the equation. Used Ram trucks are a great value thanks to the fact that they’ve already gone through their most rapid period of depreciation. We’ve all heard that a new vehicle can lose as much as ten percent of its value as soon as it’s driven off the lot, but that’s often just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to depreciation. According to some estimates, a vehicle can lose as much as 30 percent of its value in the first year alone, which is why pre-owned vehicles are such a good choice for the budget-conscious driver.

While this holds true for all used vehicles, pickup trucks are actually a little more resilient when it comes to depreciation than your average car or SUV. Today’s trucks are designed to work and, as such, are often built sturdier than a typical vehicle. How much sturdier? A recent study by iSeeCars found that a pickup like the Ram 1500 has an almost 26 percent chance of hitting 250,000 miles compared to just 12 percent for the average vehicle.

Exploring our pre-owned inventory can also turn up some fun surprises. While it can be hard to justify tacking on added features and packages when shopping new, many used models already come equipped with all sorts of fun features without the corresponding price hike. From lift kits and custom wheels to appearance packages, premium audio systems, on-board power, and creature comforts, each used model can offer a unique driving experience.
