Or, get the available Level 2 charger, and get a full charge in just two hours. That should come in handy when you realize you forgot to plug in overnight and need to leave soon. It can also drive in all-electric mode for 25 miles, so if you forget to fill up, the battery alone can get you to that next station (so long as it’s charged).

You can also choose from three smart modes when you’re cruising around. Hybrid mode is going to lean on the combination of the 2.0L turbocharged engine and the electric motor, giving you the best possible horsepower for this model. Electric mode lets you run on the battery entirely. Finally, eSave mode will mostly rely on the gas engine to save battery power for another time.
